Who are the Indigo Children?

The concept of Indigo Children has caught the attention of parents, caregivers and educators alike who have noticed some very specific characteristics common to many of today’s youth and certainly even amid many more who are relative newborns!
It’s not just about a new label to replace the ‘generation-X’ tag of the 1980s – but something real, as many Indigo Children themselves will explain on social networking sites like IndigoWorld.com, which are created by Indigos to cater specifically to their ways of thinking and being.
Indigo Children, as we term them today, have been incarnating on the planet for many centuries, however, it has only been in our recent human history that we have began to notice their influence. Perhaps you might recognize some in history – such as Joan of Arc, Isaac Newton or more recently, Lady Diana.
They represent a predominate frequency of light energy which resonates throughout their body – much like a personality does. This frequency of light, seen by psychics as a predominance of Indigo among the other colors of the human aura, represents their connection to the ‘divine’.
These kids have built-in knowingness and built in systems which alert them from truth and deception, good and bad and love verses force. These aspects may be within unconsciously to some - expressed as one or more of the characteristics typical of Indigo, such as their demand for truth and honesty in their transactions with self and others; or it may be fully manifest by those following their life's plan such as the dream-healer Adam or the beautiful art of Akiane.

The Crystal Children – the littlest Indigos among us today – have yet to find their place in the world, however one things is for sure – just by looking at these children you can see a radiant peace, stability and light. These are the new kids of the future and all things going well, they will shape a world of sharing and cooperation the likes has not been experienced before.
